A collection of University Projects from 2019 - 2022.
Initial Project
Preparation for my Final Project. I knew I wanted to work in 1:12 scale, in an exterior, run-down setting. I also knew I wanted to test an interior element. I made this exterior façade of a run down town-house. It was my intention to pay close attention to weathering and textures.

Spectacle Arts
Required to create an animal of our choice, in three different ways. A miniature form, head sculpt & a light-up theatre piece.

Spatial Design
A façade of a local abandoned bookies & art supply shop.

Advanced Sculpting
Required to sculpt an ear, foot & torso in plasticine. Torso to then be carved away, revealing anatomy.

3D Design Studies
Created in first year. I sculpted half an octopus and placed a magnet in it's head. I bought a small square fish tank, placed mirror foil on one wall & when the model was placed against it, it looked like a full octopus. You could control the movements from behind with another magnet. I unfortunately didn't get any more photos than this.

Model Animation
Required to make a puppet of a well-known celebrity/icon, working a job/trade of our choice. I chose Mark Zuckerberg working in a coal mine, in marionette style.
From the darkness of the mines emerges a skeleton, eager to befriend Mark. Over-time, they grow fond of each other, playing games & telling jokes. Mark stays in the mines with his best friend until the end of his days.
Modelmaking for Film
Required to make half a chess set, including 5 pawns, a king, queen, rook, knight & bishop.
All given different themes, mine was Ancient Egyptian. Chess board marked with hieroglyphics, given natural stone look. Pawns sculpted, moulded & cast in plaster.
